Memorial Day, 1993. When 13-year-old Kyle Vogel discovers the World War II footlocker belonging to his grandfather, Bud, everyone tells Kyle to put it back. Luckily, he ignores them. Although Bud has never talked about the war, he finds himself striking a deal with his grandson: Kyle can pick any three souvenirs, and Bud will tell him the stories behind each one. Memorial Day not only takes us on a journey into Bud#39;s plicated wartime past, but also into Kyle#39;s wartime future. As the two men share parallel experiences in bat, they e to realize how that magical day on the porch shaped both of their lives.
保加利亚伦理学家基里尔·瓦西列夫在《情爱论》一书中说：“爱情产生的第一个表现是迷醉。它那明净的光辉甚至会照进梦境。”此诗的最后三行正表现了女主人公为爱情而迷离惝恍的迷醉状态。在万籁俱寂的深夜，“我”一心想着热恋中的“你”，“派遣有翅膀的使者，/带去珍重的许诺和苦苦的思念”去看望“你”。这“有翅膀的使者”指的是什么呢?不言而喻，那是“我”的一颗心，“我”的纯洁而美丽的灵魂。身虽在，而魂已去，为爱情而失神落魄，好似掉了魂一样，这便是迷醉状态。然而，诗在最后却出其不意地陡然一转：“它忧伤地回来了——你的窗户已经睡熟。”这里的“窗户”语含双关：既是事实上的窗户，因为夜深，“你”的“窗户”确已关上，“你”已睡熟;又是指的“你”的心灵的“窗户”、灵魂的“窗户”已经关闭。当然诗人所指更重于后者。仅这一句，就使以上灼热的情感、美艳的形象骤然为之一变，而透出一丝美丽忧伤的凄婉色彩。而“你的窗户已经睡熟”与上面“我”的眼睛“没有映出你的存在”正相映照。Copyright © 2015-2023 All Rights Reserved
